Welcome to Robots in the Hood. This is my little blog page which I’m going to start blogging about a couple of areas in electronics, robotics, gizmos, toys, and comic books. I have always been a fan and a hobbyist in these areas and I’m just so fascinated on how technology has brought us as a society. I can remember as a kid playing those old eight track tapes. Or how about those 45’s that you could get at the record store for three dollars? Technology is not the only thing that has change, but the way we do business has change as well. You rarely see any of those old “mom and pop” record stores any more. Nowadays you either go to Best Buys or you go to different sites on the web to down load your music straight into you I pod or Mp3 player. As we see the increase of technology we will also see an increase in catering to a need. One day I walked in to my local Wal-Mart and I seen this vending machine. Instead of having snacks or sodas this vending machine had DVDs that you would rent for a day and take it back the next day. No commitments, no hassles, and no membership, now that what I call a good deal. Yes, technology has change since I was a kid, but truth be told I’m a big kid at heart. I had fallen in love with technology ever since I had my very own Pac-Man table top game when I was ten. Now that I’m grown I can write about the things that I enjoy the most.
